Seasonal Firewood Sales

We are not able to take any new customers at this time.

Between the months of October and January, we make weekly trips to DC to deliver seasoned firewood. We've been delivering firewood and stacking it with care for over 40 years. 

We offer:

1/4 cord - $165
1/2 cord - $320 
Whole cord - $625
Kindling - $18

We use a cubic measure, so our 1/4 cord is 32 cubic feet. Our standard length is 18", so a 1/4 cord makes a stack approx. 3' x 7', a little less than a "face cord," a term not used by us but by other dealers in D.C.  We can do special orders for "short wood," approx 15" in length. Please add $10/quarter for short wood.

Delivery Details: 

  • We don't charge for delivery or stacking, but if there are steps where we can't roll a wheelbarrow, we charge $2.00/step per 1/4 cord.

  • We deliver on weekdays: mid-week and mid-day (between 7 am and 4 pm).

  • We call the day before delivery to let you know we are coming. 

  • We stack your wood according to your instruction and leave you an invoice, so you can mail a check. 

  • You do not need to be at home.

  • We are NOT able to do deliveries in the areas of NE and SE Washington DC, Alexandria, Anacostia, Arlington, or Georgetown.

All our wood is seasoned hardwood and we guarantee it to be ready to burn. In the rare event that it is not, call us and we will help. Please complete the form below, and in the comment section, please indicate how much wood you would like to have delivered, if you need kindling, and your street address and phone number. We especially ask that you include any special instructions regarding the stacking location, unique entrance or alleyways, or anything else you would like our workers to know. For the health and safety of our employees we will not be entering your house.
